It's possible to put it on without bubbles - but not the way the instructions describe (in my experience). If you do buy this product, it has two layers of film you need to remove to put it on. The instructions say to remove the 1st before applying. I did that and got bubbles that were nearly impossible to get out. In fact, I quit, through out item one of three, and started over. I peeled the first layer off just enough to begin to stick the shield on the tablet. Once I got it lined up correctly, I slowly peeled off the film, sticking the shield to the tablet making sure there were no bubbles. If there were, I lifted up the shield and reset the portion with the bubbles. I did that until the whole shield was down bubble free. The second film probably just serves to make the shield thicker and easier to handle when applying it. Once the shield is on, the second film peels off easily.
